International Pension Platform
Currently many elements of the pension system are being re-engineered. Strategic rethinking of the pension system is driven by factors such as increased longevity, low interest rates, high volatility on the capital markets and further adoption of IAS19 accounting standards. These factors are putting pressure on the sustainability of existing defined benefit (“DB”) pension offerings. As a result we are experiencing an increasing willingness of sponsoring companies to disconnect from current pension practices and move to more individual savings programs.
To facilitate this transition IPP-SE has established an open cooperation platform, including a licensed premium pension institute (“PPI”), that can be utilised by selected partners to offer a range of services to their clients.
